Sherri Johnston

Sherri Johnston – President and CEO

Sherri is a LaGrange County native. Johnston has a diverse business background with experience in manufacturing, distribution, transportation, energy infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit endeavors. A Prairie Heights graduate, Johnston holds a B.S. in Accounting from Marian University. Sherri serves on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors, Lakeland’s DECA Advisory Board, NIESC Advisory Board, LaGrange County REMC Operation Round Up Committee, and is a member of the Mongo Lions Club. Her professional memberships include the Indiana Economic Development Association, MidAmerica Economic Development Council, and the Indiana Leadership Association. She also serves Springfield Township as the Trustee. She and her husband Todd have two daughters, Lydia and Amelia. Outside of her professional and community engagements, Sherri enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, kayaking the Pigeon River, and tending to her flowers.

Emilee Fincher

Emilee Buller – VP of Community Development & Engagement

Emilee is a Northeast Indiana native who graduated from Angola High school and went on to earn her B.S. from Penn State University. She has lived in four states outside of Indiana since graduating and has worked in a variety of leadership roles that have ranged from accounting to family advocacy. Her current role includes oversight of the efforts for both LaGrange County Together and Connect LaGrange County, our countywide comprehensive plan and pursuit of a Stellar Pathways Designation from the state. She also serves as the Secretary of the Board for Main Street LaGrange and is a LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. She has volunteered in LaGrange County schools to lead Junior Achievement for the last two years and is a part of Crossroad’s United Way’s Read United program. She is also an OCRA-certified Grant Administrator and has attended seminars and training on small town vitality and community development efforts. Outside of work Emilee aspires to have a hobby farm and homestead. She enjoys gardening, cooking and baking, spending time with her husband Kenny and their dogs, and creating.

Emilee Fincher

Lydia Young — Marketing & Operations Manager

Lydia is a native of West Virginia who found her way to LaGrange County after meeting her now husband, Zach. Lydia graduated West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Animal and Nutritional Sciences. Upon graduation, Lydia worked for a local poultry company where she worked in various roles that allowed her to work with farm families in LaGrange County and the surrounding areas. She also worked in Marketing and Communications where she learned more about internal and external communication, collaboration, planning, and the LaGrange County community. Lydia and Zach have a daughter, Charlotte, who keeps them on their toes. Outside of work, Lydia enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, working in her flower garden, and being on the farm with her daughter and husband.
