Tax Abatement for Lennard Dehydrating LLC
LaGrange, IN. (July 10, 2019) — The LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation
LAGRANGE – The LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation President Bill Bradley requested a $630,000 tax abatement for Lennard Dehydrating LLC at the LaGrange County Council meeting Monday July 8th. Lennard Dehydrating LLC has designed a machine in house that will grind and dry raw potatoes into a granular substance that can be used by the pet food market. This will alleviate waste of 1-2 trailers of potatoes daily. This new investment will add 3 additional jobs to the Howe, Indiana facility. The abatement will save the company $8700 in property taxes over the 5-year life of the abatement. The LaGrange County Council unanimously approved the abatement.
